Who are we? Why are we here?
We started this site nearly five years ago, and while we jumped out of the gate hard and fast, it was a false-start, nevertheless. So, we’re back with some revised content and some new material. When we first kicked-off BatchControl.com in 2000, we wanted it to focus specifically on the control of batch manufacturing. Well, not really...we wanted it to focus on batch control. (And you’re now asking, “What’s the difference between those last two statements?” Well, it’s quite simple, dear Watson: batch control can be applied to processes beyond manufacturing...)
Now That We’re New and Improved
We have added content to include things like S95 and modular manufacturing. If you look closely, you will see that they are all part of batch control. You will see some new content today to cover this new scope. As time goes on, we will add more content (at least some of which we hope will be valuable).
The Future As We See It
By focusing on batch control, we believe that we can provide critical niche education, expertise, tools, and (maybe even someday) services craved by the batch community. What you see today may be small, but our adventure is just beginning.
Enjoy surfing the site. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with your comments or suggestions. They are really important to us and we do read each and every message.
But remember, on this web site there can be no eating, drinking, smoking, or the use of flash photography...
